Phases in e-learning

  1. Analysis & Design

    The Analysis phase is followed by the design phase.


     

    Analysis:

    The following components are part of this phase:

  • Scope analysis of the program
  • Learner profile and analysis
  • Success criteria
  • Technology Analysis


 

Design:

The following components are part of this phase:

  • Course Design
    • Course structure
    • Product features (like navigation style, global buttons etc)
  • Look & Feel
  • Technology Requirement
    • To develop the product
    • To implement and run the product


 

  1. Product Development

    The product development has the following tasks:

  • Developing framework

    To develop a SCROM based framework

  • Instruction Designing
    • Creating Content Map
    • Creating Detailed Content Outline
    • Creating Storyboard
  • Visual Design
    • Creating media (graphic, illustration, animation)
  • Media Production
    • Video production
    • Audio production
  • Product Integration
    • Publishing XML
    • Integrating Products
  • Internal Review

    In this phase the product is reviewed by all stakeholders

  • Product Testing

    In this phase the product is tested for bugs

  • Product Release and Client Review
  • Product Update after client review
  • Client Sign off


 

  1. LMS Deployment

    In this phase the product is deployed and tested on the LMS, the users are created and assigned to the course
